These terms cover your use of the Waft app and this website. Using Waft means you accept them.

Using Waft

Waft is for cooking at home, for yourself and the people you cook for. Please don't misuse it: no attempts to break it, copy the recipe catalog out of it, or use it to harm anyone.

Answers to your questions

When you ask Waft a question mid-cook, the answer is generated by a language model. It is usually helpful and sometimes wrong. If an answer doesn't look right, trust the recipe and your own sense.

Recipes you share

If you submit a recipe to the community collection, you confirm it's yours to share. You keep ownership of it, and you let us show, edit for clarity, and distribute it in Waft. Every submission is reviewed before it appears, and we may decline or remove one.

Recipes you save from a link stay private to you. Saving one is for your own cooking; it doesn't give you rights to the original.

Our content

The recipes, photographs, text and design in Waft belong to us or the people who made them. You may use them for your own cooking, not republish them.

If something goes wrong

We work to keep Waft running and accurate, but we provide it as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses arising from your use of Waft. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

Ending things

You can stop using Waft and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the app will tell you about a change that matters.
